People have been squabbling about how much tax to pay – and systems for paying it – since they were filing by carving stone tablets. So today’s fights over federal tax fairness are nothing new. But Uncle Sam’s income tax may be the least of it. Consider all the other kinds of taxes we pay. For most, they probably add up to a bigger hit.
